Normand W. Leblond

Normand W. Leblond, 87 passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday July 11, 2023, after a period of declining health. Normand was born January 23, 1936, in Nashua, NH to the late Emile and Alice (Belanger) Leblond.

He was employed by Nashua Corporation until his retirement in 1999 and held several part time positions with the Nashua School District until 2022. His latest role as lunch monitor at Broad Street Elementary School brought him the greatest joy, as he adored working with the children and staff there.

In his free time Normand loved taking trips to Foxwoods and playing Keno as well as the daily numbers. He also enjoyed candlepin bowling at Leda Lanes and gardening. Normand was always up for traveling and going on vacation, especially his favorite family trips to the White Mountains and Hampton Beach. You could also find him dancing with his siblings and his wife Elizabeth at local dances around town. Most of all, Normand enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and loved to make people smile. He was also devoted parishioner at the Parish of the Resurrection for more than half of his life.

Normand was the beloved husband of Elizabeth (Hadley) Leblond for 53 years prior to her passing in 2012. He is survived by his two sons Mark Leblond and his wife Sheri of Londonderry, and Donald Leblond and his partner David Robertson of Manchester, his grandson Brandon Leblond and his fiancé Amy Goodwin of Hudson, a great grandson Henley Leblond, his sister Rita Dubois of Nashua, and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his siblings Paul Leblond, Robert Leblond, Cecile Dumais, and Theresa Lebrun, and his granddaughter Morgan Leblond.

Family and friends are invited to Normand’s visitation on WEDNESDAY July 19th from 4 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. A funeral mass will take place on THURSDAY, July 20th at 11 AM at The Parish of The Resurrection, 449 Broad Street, Nashua. KINDLY MEET AT THE CHURCH. His interment will follow at St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
